Before you can register a reclassification of shares, you need to select the company concerned and click the “+ New Event” button.

Step 1 – Choose Date

Select the date when the reclassification is to be registered in the share ledger. As with all other types of events, reclassifications are recorded in chronological order.

Step 2 – Select Shares for Reclassification

Specify which shares are to be reclassified or converted. You can select all shares, all shares of a certain class, or whole/parts of individual shareholdings.

Step 3 – Choose Share Class

Indicate the share class to which the shares will be reclassified. This can be another existing share class or a newly created one.

Step 4 – Add Note (Optional)

A notes field is available for this event. If you wish, you can write reminders or other relevant information about the event.

These notes are not shown in the printed share ledger and can only be viewed by administrators/observers through Share Ledger Events → “More Info”.

Step 5 – Upload Attachment (Optional)

You also have the option to upload one or more attachments related to this event. Examples include a copy of the shareholders’ resolution or other relevant documents.
Attachments are not visible in the printed share ledger and can only be accessed by administrators/observers via Share Ledger Events → “More Info”.

Step 6 – Finalize the Reclassification

Click the “Complete” button. If everything is filled in correctly, the event will be registered and the share ledger and all relevant reports will be updated accordingly.

Notification to Shareholders

If any of the shareholders have a depot in NVR, they will be notified that their holdings in the company have changed. They will then have the opportunity to log in to NVR to verify the updated information.
This notification supports both the administrator and the shareholders by providing a chance to react in case of errors in the registration. This is also important for ensuring transparency.
