Administrator, Observer, or Board Member/CEO – how can I see all the companies I have access to?

If you can’t find a specific company that you know you have access to, it’s likely because you are viewing the wrong permission level. Your role or permission level determines the order and where you see the companies.

When you log in to NVR and select the share ledger service, you will immediately see all the companies where you are an administrator under “My Companies.”
To the right of the search field, you can see which permissions you have and a number indicating how many companies you have access to under that specific permission.

There are three possible types of permissions:

  • Administrator

  • Observer

  • Board Member / CEO

When a permission type is highlighted in blue, it means that’s the one currently active.

For example, to switch from Administrator to Observer, click “Observer” (shown in grey). All companies where you have Observer access will then appear in the list below.

What do the different permission types mean?

An Administrator has full access and can do everything — from editing and managing the share ledger to inviting other administrators and subscribing to a different plan.

An Observer has read-only access to the share ledger and can download reports.

A Board Member / CEO automatically has access to the share ledger of any company where they are part of the board or act as CEO. Auditors also have this access. This level provides read-only access with the same rights as an observer, but unlike an observer, they do not need to be invited to the company’s share ledger.
